Setting up the VPN using Server on Mac OS X

1. Install the server software and configure the VPN - Configure VPN for: L2TP and PPTP - VPN Host Name: Company domain or ip address - Shared Secret: 
2. Get the ports open on the router: See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6175?viewlocale=en_US for required ports 
3. Setting up on client
1. Open System Preferences -> Network -> click (+) 
2. Choose VPN, then click create ……... 
3. Click advanced and check the “Send all traffic over VPN connection”

Symtoms: unresolved external symbol ATL::__FreeStdCallThunk Solution: Open Project Properties -> Linker -> Input -> Additional Dependencies Then add atlthunk.lib
